Kowhai villa is a charming 95 year old home presented in two
tasteful boutique apartments. So close to the central city yet surrounded
by an enchanting garden featuring New Zealand native plants.
The renovations have been carefully completed to retain the
charm of yesteryear yet offer the modern conveniences of today. Private
courtyards present an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, whether relaxing
with a good book or barbequing with friends.
Situated in a quiet street, it’s an easy 10 – 15 minute walk to
the city centre. Stroll along the banks of the Avon River, have fun in the park near by
or visit the local shops and cafes.
You’ll find all the comforts of home are here – from books,
magazines and reading lamps to fluffy pillows and cosy duvets.
Apartment A has 2 bedrooms - the first with a queen slat bed
the other with twin beds which can be configured to form a king size bed
according to your requirements.
Apartment B has one light and airy bedroom with a
comfortable king size bed and cheerful decor. All beds have new, plush and
comfortable mattresses.
Larger groups can rent both apartments, in addition to Chester
St Cottage one block away, sleeping up to 10 guests (two week minimum
applies).
We offer family friendly homes and a cot
and highchair are available on request free of charge.
